At WellSpace Play Therapy, we take a comprehensive, child-centered approach to understanding attention and behavioral concerns. As part of our ADHD evaluation process, we utilize the Test of Variables of Attention (TOVA), a computerized assessment that provides objective information about attention, sustained focus, impulsivity, response time, and consistency of performance.

The TOVA is one component of the overall evaluation and is not used as a stand-alone diagnostic test. Results are considered alongside clinical interviews, developmental history, clinical observations, parent and teacher feedback, behavioral rating scales, and other relevant information. This comprehensive approach allows us to develop a clearer understanding of each child’s unique needs.

Our goal at WellSpace Play Therapy is to provide families with meaningful information and individualized recommendations that can support treatment planning, school collaboration, and practical strategies to help children and adolescents function more successfully across settings.

ADHD Evaluation Information

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that can affect a child’s attention, impulse control, activity level, organization, and ability to manage everyday tasks. Understanding a child’s individual strengths, challenges, and behaviors is an important step in determining whether ADHD may be contributing to difficulties at home, school, or in other settings.

Scheduling Deposit: $150 non-refundable deposit required to schedule

All assessment services at WellSpace Play Therapy are self-pay and are not billed through insurance. Upon request, we can provide a superbill documenting services provided that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement
